Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Sovana Intelligence, LLC ("Sovana," "we," "us") collects when you use the Sovana app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@sovanahq.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your TikTok handle, if you enter it.
- Your answers in setup and Tune: the products and audience you focus on, whether you film on camera, how much time you have, and similar preferences.
- Products you bookmark, like or mark as posted, and scripts you ask Sovana to write.
- Screenshots or video frames you choose to upload for analysis.
- Messages you send us.
Information from TikTok, when you connect your account
If you choose "Log in with TikTok," TikTok shares only what you approve on TikTok's permission screen. Depending on what you approve, that can include:
- Your basic profile: your TikTok ID for Sovana, display name, username and profile photo.
- Your public profile stats, such as follower and video counts.
- Your videos' details: titles, cover images, links and view, like, comment and share counts.
- If you connect TikTok Shop: your affiliate profile, the products in your showcase, your attributed orders and commissions, collaboration invitations, and sample requests.
We receive access tokens from TikTok to fetch this data on your behalf. We store them encrypted and never see or store your TikTok password.
Public TikTok Shop data
Sovana uses licensed third-party data about public TikTok Shop activity (product sales trends, public videos, public creator statistics) to rank products and spot trends.
Information collected automatically
- A push notification token, if you allow notifications.
- Basic technical information such as app version, device type, and request logs used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To run Sovana: rank products for you, show your sales and videos, write scripts, and send the alerts you ask for.
- To personalize recommendations to your page, audience and goals.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To contact you about your account or answer your messages.
Some features use artificial intelligence services to analyze trends and write suggestions. When they do, we send only the information needed for that task (for example, public video captions and your stated preferences). Those providers process it on our behalf and may not use it to train their own models.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:
- With service providers that host, store, analyze or deliver Sovana for us (cloud hosting, databases, AI processing, notifications), under contracts that limit their use of it.
- If the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or Sovana.
- As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. When you disconnect TikTok, we delete your TikTok tokens and stop fetching your TikTok data. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep it to meet legal obligations. Cached public TikTok Shop data that isn't tied to you may be kept for trend analysis.
Your choices and rights
- Disconnect TikTok at any time in the app (My page → Tune → Account) or in TikTok (Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services).
- Turn notifications off in your phone's settings.
- Ask to see, correct, download or delete your information by emailing support@sovanahq.com. Depending on where you live (for example California or another US state with a privacy law), you may have additional rights; we honor them and won't treat you differently for using them.
Security
We use encryption in transit, encrypt TikTok access tokens at rest, limit who can access data, and monitor for abuse. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Sovana is for adults. TikTok Shop affiliate creators must be 18 or older, and Sovana is not directed to anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for meaningful changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
